    There will be a public informational meeting concerning the Green Acres Road sewer project at 6:00 P.M. at the Township Office located on Green Acres Road. Questions concerning the start up, individual hookups, what will be accomplished, etc. will be answered.

July 11, Monday

  • Township Board Meeting, 6pm

  • Election Committee meeting and pre-accuracy test

    There will be an election committee meeting to approve election inspectors and a pre-accuracy test at 11AM

    NOTICE:
    TO RESIDENTS OF THE CHARTER TOWNSHIP OF PORTAGE
    NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Public Accuracy Test for the August 2, 2022 Election has been scheduled for July 13, 2022 at 11 A.M. at the Township Office, 47240 Green Acres Road, Houghton, MI 49931.
    The Public Accuracy Test is conducted to determine that the program and the computer being used to tabulate the results of the election, counts the votes in the manner prescribed by the law.
